James Hyun, CPA, CVA

James Hyun, CPA, CVA, is a Principal of CROJEDA and leads the firm's Valuation Practice and provides business strategy, tax consulting, and business reorganization planning to small to middle-market companies as well as family offices and high-net-worth individuals. James has over nine years of tax and consulting experience in public accounting and private industry, including Big 4 and Fortune Global 500 companies in Los Angeles.

James’ foresight has always focused on helping his clients understand their business operations and short- and long-term goals. His experience in business valuations makes him invaluable to clients in support of gift & estate, litigation, divorce, and transactional purposes.

James has served clients in various industries, including real estate, food and beverage, technology hardware, banking and the capital market, hospitality and hotel management, and renewable energy.

James represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities. He obtained his CPA license through the Maryland Board of Public Accountancy. He is a member of the California Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

When James is not in the office, you can find him on the golf course or outdoors. A former Boy Scout, his other interests include sports, concerts, cooking, movies, and spending time with friends and family. ​
